Pactola/Fathers Day

For fathers day we decided that rather than sitting at a dusty dry motocross race that renting a boat and going out on Pactola Lake was a WAY better idea. With 80+ degree weather and a full cooler we were right. We started at like 1:30, took a dip in the always frigid waters, then went and picked up some chicken, parked in a cove and chilaxed. Come to find out our time on the water was running short mom wanted to swim one mroe time. But we didn't have an extra half hour for her to just get in the water. We talked her into jumping off the front of the boat into the freezing water. She was out pretty quick and then back in to warmer feeling water. Rusty was warming up to the idea of the lake and you could tell he wanted to check it out. Sam handed him down to me in the water and he actually swam a little. His usually cute little brown eyes were HUGE and very much scared so we lifted him back in. Also to our surprise Dad even was getting so hot that he wanted to go in, it only took about ten swear words and alot of heavy breathing to get in to his chest- but he still made it. Over all we had a awesome time, will definatly do it again, and couldn't have had a better day.
